Lednice Castle
"Summer rosarium"
Lednice is a village in South Moravia in the Czech Republic. In 1996 it was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List (together with the twin manor of Valtice) as "an exceptional example of the designed landscape that evolved in the Enlightenment and afterwards under the care of a single family." It contains a palace and the largest park in the country, which covers 200 km².

With a total area of 250 hectares, the Průhonice Park along with Průhonice castle are a Czech National Historic Landmark and a UNESCO World Heritage site.A lime tree alley leads you from Průhonice town square to the main gate decorated with an arc shield. Notice how the inside of the Renaissance gate alters in style to resemble a timbered country house with gables and balconies.

Prague Castle is a castle complex in Prague, Czech Republic, dating from the 9th century. It is the official office of the President of the Czech Republic. The castle was a seat of power for kings of Bohemia, Holy Roman emperors, and presidents of Czechoslovakia. The Bohemian Crown Jewels are kept within a hidden room inside it.
